Susan enjoyed mathematics and the fine arts from a very young age and discovered mid-career that personal financial planning for individuals and families is the ultimate in creative problem-solving. Susan especially enjoys working with her clients on complex financial situations and on multi-generational wealth transfer.
Susan received an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a BA from Carleton College. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Susan is a member of The Chicago Club.
Prior to joining BRF in 2007, Susan led corporate planning for the Walgreen Company advising executive management on a wide range of strategic and operational issues. Prior to Walgreen’s she was a client services director for a Chicago-based technology start-up and worked as a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Previously she helped found for Carleton College a donor stewardship program in non-profit development.
Susan is based out of Naples, FL. When not working, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband, stepsons, and dog, as well as cooking, golfing, and traveling.
Susan currently serves as BRF’s President.
